About Footprint Workers co-op:

We are a workers co-operative. It means our business is owned by the workers, and here at Footprint we have no boss, managers, or structural hierarchy. Read more about our worker co-op here.

Footprint is a member of Radical Routes and committed to supporting the co-operative economy. We provide other co-ops with 10% discount on all work, and one of our members specialises in co-op development services. We are also members of Co-ops UK and the SolidFund, as well as supporters of Principle 5.

We aim to make our printing as affordable as possible, especially to political campaigns and organisations we think are doing good work. We regularly donate money and/or printing in the same way.

We do business as ethically as we can: printing on proper recycled papers, powered by a genuine green electricity tariff (Good Energy) and using the least environmentally damaging processes we can find.

Our specialism is riso printing. This uses soy-based ink in a process which is a bit like mechanised screen printing. We also have a digital printing machine for regular printing. Find more information on riso printing here, and digital printing here.
